Recently I posted a picture entitled universal religion. I found it to be intriguing for several reasons. Firstly, I genuinely believe that all religions are actually presenting us with the same message. Or to be more accurate that all spiritual outlooks are one and the same.

For many years now, I have been digging deeper and deeper in to the various symbols hidden within many spiritual ‘tools’. Currently the tarot is the subject that dominates my thinking. (Apart from spiritual contact).

I firmly believe that the tarot is a great way of connecting with spirit as it contains so many universal symbols and meanings.

It always makes me smile when people reject the tarot due to their own personal religious beliefs. As the tarot contain symbols from many different spiritual and religious backgrounds.

Take for example the card shown with this posting. The High Priestess. The woman wears a horned crown upon her head, which is a Pagan crown, it appears to cup a round object which could be a crystal ball representing intuition or it could be a stylized symbol for the Sun God.

However, around her neck is a necklace bearing a cross. A symbol of Christianity. She also rests the Torah upon her lap. The Torah is the most important text in Judaism.  It is composed of the five books of Moses and contains 613 Commandments. The most well known of which are Christianities Ten Commandments.

So immediately we have a combined symbolism of Pagan, Christian and Judaism.

The two pillars contain a letter B and J which represent two pillars from the Temple of Solomon, Biaz and Jachin. The Temple of Solomon is said to contain The Ark of the covenant, which is supposedly a chest which contains the stone tablets on which the Ten Commandments are inscribed.

The card is numberered in the style of Roman Numerals; you can see this at the top of the card. This can be read in numerological terms and either number two or number 11 ( a master number in numerology.)

There is so much symbology and meaning hidden (in plain view) that it is staggering.

I also have to state that the ‘traditional’ meaning given in books and  tarot actually do not reflect the true meaning and message shown within the cards. I personally believe that this is a deliberate action.

Just as in with anything in life you must work, study, investigate and strive to understand the knowledge hidden within its detail to truly master the secrets within the tarot.

Make no mistake it will be a lifelong study that will lead us down many diverse paths, but what a fascinating journey.

This will obviously take time and may well explain why all the ‘psychic masters’ must live a very long life before they can be called true teachers or masters. Which is also what the Torah means…teaching.

I suspect that nothing has been left to chance within the detail and inner message of the tarot.

I had another odd experience recently. I was working at a house party doing readings for the guests.

 During one reading, the lady stopped me and said, I think this reading is for someone else, they are sitting in the other room waiting to come in.

So the lady I was reading for left the room and the other woman came into see me. So I told her everything that had been said and asked her if this made sense to her. Everything related to her exactly.

So, I continued to read for her, during which her mother came through from spirit side. She also brought with her other family members and friends. Messages were passed back and forth and in time the reading came to an end.

Afterwards, the first lady came back in, and we were then able to continue with her own reading with no further issues.

My point is, that this simply proves to me how determined our loved ones are to come through and communicate with us. To let us know that they are safe and continue to live in another realm.

It also reminds me of how easy it is to try to pass on a message to the wrong person.

At least on this occasion the message finally reached the correct recipient.

This is in direct contrast to an experience a few evenings beforehand.

I was presenting private readings in a local restaurant. At this event I had seventeen people to read for, obviously these were brief readings. The first sixteen readings went great. The last one however was a nightmare.

This was an elderly woman. She sat down at my table and immediately I had her mother, father and brother with me. She accepted that, and then abruptly changed, and refused to accept any information that was coming through. Now sometimes that can happen, and yes I do sometimes get it wrong and misinterpret things. I am after all simply human.

However, something else was going on here. This woman had a big smile on her face, and seemed pleased that she was saying no to the information coming through.

Then the penny dropped. She appeared to be one of those people that do not actually believe in psychic ability. I think she had convinced herself that no one can read for her, and actually appeared to be quite proud of this.

I for one was not amused by her. If you do not believe in psychic ability why waste your time and mine by coming along? That sitting could have been held for someone who actually needed it.

I really do resent it when people approach me in this way. If you decide to approach me with an attitude please do not be surprised when I return that attitude and send you away and refuse to read for you.

I do not appreciate my time and energy being wasted. I am aware that as I work in a spiritual field I should strive to be more understanding, at least that is how the theory goes. However time wasters and bad attitude do not go down well with me. Especially if the sitter is telling me no, but the spirit world is telling me yes.

It takes a lot of energy and focus for me to do this work, and I know that it takes a lot of effort from spirit side also.

So as I sent this woman away, she seemed to be partly chuffed with herself, as I suppose she think she won something, but she was also a bit perturbed that I had the audacity to send her packing.

I could also see the confusion and frustration from her mother, father and brother who had put all that effort into coming through simply to be rejected by her.

As much as I love my work. Sometimes it can be very frustrating indeed.

Hi all. This blog thing is something I have toyed with for quite a while, but I have never actually put a lot of work into it. Hopefully that will change now.

It is not meant to be overly serious, although there will hopefully be a few articles that will make you think, and maybe a few that will make you smile.

I will post articles about various psychic subjects and my experiences working with them. if you are interested it will also keep you up to date with my activities and events.

For now most of my focus is on the up coming new show titled "The Psychic Experience" This is being launched on 18th April at the Vale of Leven Masonic Hall, Gilmour Street, Alexandria.

Although I am obviously biased, I like to think of it as my Super Psychic Extravaganza of psychic entertainment. (Bit of a mouthful eh?)

I am really looking forward to this. It should be a good one.

The above leaflet more or less sums up exactly what this is all about.  this show sums up more or less 20 odd years of researching various psychic subjects and related subjects. Actually now over half of my life has been taken up with this. A sobering thought.
